SQL Source Control - Crashes SSMS.exe every time

Hi
Version 6.0 (trial)

Trying to link a dedicated database to a GIT source control system and everytime I put a networked drive (we store "local" files on a network drive) into the working folder the application hangs, crashes and restarts SSMS.exe entirely.

I don't want the "custom" option because not having push/pull defeats the whole point of using the product.

Anything I can do to resolve this?

Thanks
Chris

Which SSMS version? This seems to work for me. I mapped a network drive, created a git repo, and linked from SSMS 17.4

    SSMS 17.4
    Redgate SQL Source Control v6.0.2.6908
    Windows 10

Doesn't matter if i use a mapped network drive or try to type the UNC name in. The second I type in the first "\" the application hangs and takes out SSMS.exe.
Just tried to use a local drive too (C:\) the second i got to the \ the application hung and crashed again.

OK. So I uninstalled redgate SQL Source Control, restarted my PC, reinstalled it. Restarted again and now it appears to be working.

I mapped a local drive, and didn't use \\xx\yy. Can you try that? Net use m: \\xx\yy

Just to put my 2 cents in. I'm experiencing the exact issue as OP. Win 10, SSMS 17.5, most recent SQL Source Control version. I will reinstall tonight and report back.
