This error was a problem with the saved project file not respecting a case sensitive collation. The project file on being re-opened would default to being case-insensitive and generate the reported problem.
This problem has been fixed in V3.0.3.930 released on the 1st March 2018. Please use the check for updates process to upgrade or use the link below:ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQLDependencyTracker/01Mar2018/SQLDependencyTracker_3.0.3.930.zip
Many Thanks

To test it, I built 5 different projects yesterday. Today, when I try to open any of them I get an error message from 4 of them: "A problem occurred whilst loading your project: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Not what I'm used to with Red-Gate tools, and definitely a show-stopper for me...
Version 3.0.1.829.
SQL Server 2014 Enterprise
