I keep getting this error when building to a scratch server. SQL Server 2016. I have ignore file groups true in ComparisonOptions and in Build step...

RedGate.DLMAutomation.Shared.Errors.TerminatingException: Schema validation failed: 43 batches failed. The first error is 'Invalid filegroup 'MainFG' specified.'. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid filegroup 'MainFG' specified.

Thanks!

I'm working on a POC for a large existing database - and got that as well. I'm going to proceed in my POC by changing the option to ignore the filegroup. Since I MAY Need to compare filegroups, i would be curious on the resolution of this. Do I need to create a separate ticket?

Got the same error even after changing the option. Should I open a ticket?

The original poster's issue was caused by an old migration script that hadn't been updated to version 6
