SQL Backup
Bloated backupfiles_copylist and backupfiles_copylist_log
New post
Hello
I am noticing extreme bloat in the backupfiles_copylist and backupfiles_copylist_log tables.
Is it safe to delete from both of these tables on a regular basis?
I would only delete from backupfiles_copylist if status is S or E.
Thanks
Steve

Hi q_sac,
Thanks for posting on the Redgate forums.
There is no problem with shrinking these down, as you say as long as the P status is left this will be fine.

You can achieve the same effect via the Server Options dialog: check `Delete all backup and restore history older than XX days`.
