Is the multiple server reporting feature dead?

I cannot get a mult-server backup report to work. It fails with the following:

The metadata could not be determined because statement 'EXECUTE master..sqbdata 'SELECT id,backup_set_uuid, backup_start,backup_end,backup_type,dbname,[encr' invokes an extended stored procedure.

The last time this issue was addressed in the forum was in 2012, and it appears that involved an issue that Microsoft declined to address.

Is the multi-server backup report dead? Or is there a workaround to get it to work?

I've got auditors on my back, and I would really like some help with this.

    Hi Rob, thank you for your forum post.

    We have replicated the error - The metadata could not be determined because statement 'EXECUTE master..sqbdata 'SELECT id,backup_set_uuid, backup_start,backup_end,backup_type,dbname,[encr' invokes an extended stored procedure.

    A bug fix version of the SQL Backup GUI is under going testing. When it is made available to myself and colleagues in the Support Team, we will provide a link for you to download.

    A bug fix version is now available and can be downloaded using the link below:
    ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQLBackup/14Nov2017/SQLBackup_9.1.6.140.zip

    Please do upgrade and confirm that the bug is fixed in your environment.
