Simple Expression - Turn of preview refresh

I am using the "Simple Expression" generator and am getting a bit frustrated by it auto-refreshing on a partially completed expression. Is there a way to turn the auto-refresh off?
I want to enter the expression and only then refresh the preview pane.

    Hi, thank you for your forum post.

    Sadly there is not an option to turn off this auto-refresh. I understand that this can become annoying when you are still typing in to create the generator or editing one that you have previously created.

    I have added the details of this Forum Post to an existing Enhancement Request whose reference is SDG-1195. At this time you are only the second user / customer who has reported this problem. Hopefully, this problem who be investigated and fixed in a future version of SQL Data Generator.
