Problems comparing Source control versions

Since upgrading to the latest SQL Compare 12, I can no longer comparing one release in SVN to another release in SVN. We do this to create version upgrade scripts. SQL Compare is now stating 'Getting the deployed migration blocks is not supported from a ScriptFolder' when I attempt to create the script. This is a new problem as we have been doing this for over a year without issue until the latest release. I have version 12.4.9.4945.

I'm seconding this...please look ASAP, this is causing a serious problem for us! This sort of bug should not be occurring on a stable version.

I just saw this for the first time. I've alerted the Dev team (although I'm sure they're already working on it).

Same problem here. I upgraded to the latest version 12.4.11.5008 today (24.08), but the problem is still here.

We've just released SQL Compare 12.4.12 to our Frequent Updates channel which contains a fix for creating deployments where the target is a source control revision. If you can't see the update, take a look at this article on how to turn on frequent updates.

Does this fix the problem for you?
