Synonyms and SQL Prompt not working as expected

We're using SQL Prompt with SQL Server 2012.

We have synonyms setup in our database which point to databases on the same server, and on different servers. When we use SQL prompt to view the field list for tables on different servers, SQL prompt does not display the list of fields. However when the synonym is to a database on the same server as the one we are connected to, it does display the field list. Is this a bug that could be resolved? See screenshots below of behavior

    Hi @ZackS,

Thank you for reporting this. We've reproduced the problem locally and created a bug (reference: SP-6559) to track it.

    Best regards,

I'm looking to purchase 5-6 licenses of sql prompt, but this bug is probably a deal breaker. What is the chance of fixing this in the next month or so?

    Hi all,

I'm looking into this now and just want to double check a few things.
    1. Do you have the SQL Prompt > Options > Connections > Load referenced databases option selected?
    2. What type of remote servers are you referencing in your synonyms. Are they linked servers to the current server?

    Thanks for the help!
