Cannot install SQL Search 2.3

Hi everyone,

I am trying to install SQL Search 2.3 on Windows 10, SSMS v17.0 RC (sql server 2016).

The installation seems not to see my SSMS, so I cannot proceed with it.

Does anyone knows how to fix it?

    Hi, thank you for your forum post.

    At this time, SQL Search V2.3 does not support SSMS V17, RC0.

    However, the next release of SQL Search will offer support SSMS V17, RC0. Sadly I do not have a release date as to when this new version will occur. I will update this forum post when the planned new version of SQL Search becomes available.

    Hi, I have good news.

    V2.4 of SQL Search is now available which supports SSMS V17 RC0 and can be downloaded using this link:
    ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/SQLS ... Search.zip

    Please do download and install to confirm that this new version of SQL Search works in your environment using SSMS V17 RC0.
