Disable All Foreign Keys in Oracle Scheme

Hi,

While Comparing Data using Redgate Data Compare do we need to Disable all the Foreign Keys ?

    To perform a comparison using Data Compare for Oracle, there is no need to disable all the Foreign Keys.

    Are you encountering any errors or problems using Data Compare for Oracle?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I am trying to compare records using Data compare for oracle.

    the tool is comparing records in 6 table only.

    While for other table(1009 tables) it is saying table could not be compared.

    Can you please explain.

    Hi, thank you for your reply.

    I suspect that 1009 tables do not have an automatic comparison key.

    For Data Compare for Oracle (DCO) to be able to compare the rows of data held in the tables, it needs a comparison key for each table. DCO automatically selects a comparison key when the tables contain a matching primary key, unique index or unique constraint.

    If DCO cannot identify a suitable key, the table is not compared. However the using can set a custom comparison key by editing the project ->Selecting the tables & views tab ->Manually set a custom comparison key. This help article explains:
