Hi Gregory,
I would start by uninstalling and reinstalling SQL Source Control:
1 - Uninstall "SQL Source Control" and "SSMS Integration Pack Framework 1"
2 - Restart the operating system
3 - Reinstall *SQL Source Control*
4 - Test again
Thank you, -
I tried this multiple times and I tried completely uninstalling management studio and all redgate tools, then installing management studio 2016, then redgate toolbelt, but this didn't work. It has now started working after a recent management studio 2016 update hah, but it had me using SSMS 2014 for about a month. Hopefully the problem won't return... Cheers

I just updated SQL Source Control to Version 5.3.3.3431, but when I opened SSMS 2016 I received the following error:
After seeing this error message, I tried to connect to a database in SSMS, but it won't let me. It opens the "Connect to Server" window for a fraction of a second, then it disappears. Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Greg
