Hi computerlady911,
Thanks for posting on the Redgate forums.
Unfortunately, it is not possible not install both v6 and v7 on one server. We could give a limited time licence to help you migrate but you would need to upgrade your current v6 install to v7 and then run all 4 servers on the version 7 install.
When you posted on the forums a support ticket was created with this email address. I will also contact you there so we can discuss your situation further.

I have RedGate 6 GUI installed on "
Backup"I have two existing servers running on "SQL1" and "Dev1"
We are migrating to SQL2012. So I need to bring two new SQL servers online. - SQL2 and Dev2.
I want to use the latest version of RedGate and will be purchasing 2 licenses for the new servers.
I want to keep my existing version chugging along in the meantime. But I don't want to upgrade those agents since the servers will be retired as soon as the migration is completed.
Will this work?
Purchase and download new version. Install RedGate 7 GUI on
BackupInstall new clients on the new servers SQL2 and Dev2
Manage existing servers: SQL1 and Dev1 (running RedGate 6) AND new Servers: SQL2 and Dev2 (running RedGate 7) using the RedGate 7 GUI on Backup.
