GitHub Commits have unknown author

Hi, has anyone got any ideas on this one ... I'm just evaluating the tool so may have missed something

I've set up a test project connected to my db and to Github .... changes to the db result in commits to GitHub as expected BUT ... the commits are showing as "unknown committed x minutes ago"

Obviously it has the correct credentials or else the commits would fail so why is it not showing the correct name ?

Hi Paul101

I am not 100% sure why you are experiencing the reported problem, from what I have read it maybe caused by the omission of name or email in the git config file.
