    Hi

Thank you for your forum post.

Currently SQL Source Control does not support the TFS 2015 client. You will be able to use the TFS 2013 Client / Team Explorer with SQL Source Control and be able to connect to your TFS 2015 repository.

The Development Team responsible for SQL Source Control will be adding support for TFS 2015 Client / Team Explorer, sadly I do not have an accurate date for when this will occur. The team are completing work on GiT support before adding support for TFS 2015 client.

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

Is there an update or an ETA on this?
We use TFS 2015 and are having trouble using the 2013 client versions with our new installs.

    Hi,

Currently we still don't have an ETA on supporting Team Explorer 2015, I have created a support incident to see if you can help you with any issues you might be having using the earlier Explorer versions.

Please check http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... ease+notes to find out about new features in SQL Source Control.

    Thank you,
    Sergio R

    Hi,

I am afraid there's still no hard ETA.
However this is likely to be implemented in the next 2-3 months.

    Thank you,
    Sergio R

2-3 months?! How hard is it to update the software to use a new TFS?! - this is ridiculous.

I am pleased to announce that as of version 4.1.13 (available on the Frequent Updates channel), SQL Source Control now supports TFS 2015 without Team Explorer installed.

Please read the linked webpage for more detailed information:

    Thank you,
