snapshot taken in 3.0 is not working in 3.1

I took a snapshot of a database schema in 3.0 before an application upgrade. I had to reimage my PC and then I downloaded and installed 3.1. I couldnt compare the old snapshot with the current database after the application upgrade. The DB version is 12.1.0.2. The old snapshot was also taken in DB version 12.1.0.2.

I get the following error message when schema compare is attempting to open the old snapshot.

"File is not a valid snapshot file. The key already existed in the dictionary". Let me know how I can use the old snapshot for comparison.

    Is there any chance you can send the snapshot to us to see if we can work out what the issue is? support@red-gate.com

    Otherwise if you can enable verbose logging and send the log in perhaps we can identify the issue that way. http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... +log+files

    There were some bug fixes around not storing information for external tables that were fixed in 3.1 which could be related.
