ObjectExistenceChecks does not work

Hello,
I have tried to set the
<ObjectExistenceChecks>True</ObjectExistenceChecks>
to make the script wrap the table scripts in IF EXISTS statements, but this does not work. :(
Are there other settings that also need to be applied to make this work?
