Thanks for writing. I can think of two possibilities for this. Either you have come across the clock bug in Windows XP, or possibly some processes have run on a different thread and therefore a different CPU. This would be possible on a dual-CPU or dual-core system. Here are some KB articles that may help:

I'm evaluating the Ants performance profiler.
I'd a sample results. In the slowest method showing time in sec which is much more than total time take for profiling.
Is the time (sec.) is the actual(not the cpu ticks) time taken for processing my method.
Can any one explain this to me.
