Are you referring to the Job Activity Monitor? If the answer is yes, the Job Activity Monitor views the current activity of Microsoft SQL Server Agent Jobs. See the SQL Server Books On-line article:

As Red Gate SQL Backup relies upon the SQL Server Agent to trigger scheduled SQL Backup tasks. I would expect the any scheduled backup job you have created using the SQL Backup GUI to be listed.
If you perform a one off or ad hoc backup using the SQL Backup, Backup Wizard. Then this task should not be listed, as it does not become a SQL Server Agent job.
