VS 2005 pro add-in always crashes

I installed ANTS profiler on my system. Went through the regular activation process.
I have a soln (website + library + console apps) that I started working on before I installed ANTS. Whenever I try clicking on either of the 2 tool bar buttons, it gives me an error "Exception dispatching command : Object reference not set to instance of an object".

Could anyone tell me why this is happening and how do I avoid this?

    There are a number of problems with the ANTS Profiler add-in that will cause this, most notably when other add-ins try to query its' public interface. You can try using the latest stable build of ANTS Profiler 3.2, which has a multitude of fixes for the add-in:
