Massive splash screen delay when ANTS starts

I have installed the ANTS software and it works. However, when I start the application it takes 1 minute 35 seconds for the splash screen to dissapper. This is really annoying me, whats it doing, does anyone have a solution. Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 starts nearly instantly.

The computer is working on a LAN not connected to the Internet, is it trying to talk back to red-gate?

    Hi Glenn,

    ANTS Profiler does not attempt any communication once it's been activated, although any attempt to try to explain what's going on would be merely a guess.

    For instance, you may have assembly binding being logged or some Managed Debugging assistants turned on (the COMPLUS_MDA environment setting). Some things like this can slow applications down, particularly during load time.
