Reporting Job Failure for future times?

Hello!

I had a strange situation happen here this morning.

It is currently 08:40 GMT -5 14Feb08.

There were MANY "job failure" notices for times starting at 16:00 GMT -5 14Feb08 and later, up to 23:59 GMT -5 14Feb08.

I'm curious why it is reporting failure for times that have not happened yet?

Thanks!

Hi - Thanks for reporting this.

There's an issue we've discovered when servers are in different timezones other than UTC (GMT) in that when we look for the job starting time we internally use UTC and then correct back to the server's correct timezone. However there's an issue once you go past midnight GMT in that it corrects the time and not the date.

I'm working on it... :) Problem is when I set my time incorrectly to test it the local domain controller won't let me logon so it's proving harder to fix than it should be!

Nigel, thanks for the quick reply. Let me toss another wrench into the gears: All of the servers showing this problem are in a different timezone than I am. The servers are set to timezone GMT -8, so there's even more fun.

I've got a screenshot showing the issue, if you want me to e-mail it to you.

    Thanks!

Thanks - but my testers here have already delighted in finding my error locally so hopefully it won't be too long to work it out.
