Email on Incidents but not recommendations

Is it possible to configure it to email me only on creation of an "incident", but not e-mail me when a "recommendation" is created.

The recommendations are generally good, but are not something as immediate like the incidents are, and I am getting like 20 emails all at once and then I don't see the important ones.

Thanks for a great product.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for trying beta.

SQL Response Beta doesn't have feature to configure that you get email only for incident and not for recommendation.

But this beta is all about getting feedback from our users that what exactly they need from SQL Response. I would include this in our requested feature list for the final version of SQL Response.

We really want to know how the users want the email notification to work. Would you just like the ability to configure the email so that there is no email sent for recommendation? Do you think that there is anything more we can do to improve this for e.g. is it okay to get one email in a day for recommendation or you do not care at all about recommendation. Is the frequency of email sent for incident alright for you or you want that also to be changed to something else??

Kindly do let us know how would you like the email notification to work and what should be good frequency to send email?

    Thanks,
    Priya

I think maybe if you sent one e-mail, daily, weekly, whatever, saying you have X number of unresolved recommendations. It would prompt you to login to SQL Response and read them in there and then work to resolve them, if you wanted to.
In this way it would remind you to look at them, but not be bombarded with lots of extra e-mails.
For the most part, for me at least, a lot of the recommendations are for databases and features that are not mission critical and I don't want to be instantly reminded, but the incidents are pressing issues and we can define those incidents (I think).
