We have released an updated version of the SQL Response 1.0 Beta, which is now available for download at ftp://ftp.red-gate.com/development/SQLR ... .0.520.zip
This build fixes the following issues:
* Job Did Not Start incidents falsely generated with a future date and time.
* "The multi-part identifier "databases.name" could not be bound" when connecting to a SQL Server instance.
* Deadlock incidents generated even if ignored.
* Improved DBCC integrity check support
It also provides improved installer support for Windows 2000 and Windows Vista.
To install this update, you will need to uninstall the previous Incident Repository Components first, which can be done as follows:
- If you wish to keep an archive of your incidents (as these files will be removed during the uninstallation process):
-- copy the contents of "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Response\" to a safe location before uninstalling.
- Uninstall the "SQL Response Incident Repository" and "SQL Response 1" applications via Add/Remove Programs.
- Remove any remaining files from "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Response\".
- Install the updated download, and install the repository components again.
- If you have kept a copy of your incidents, you need to do the following additional steps:
-- Using the "Services" panel in "Administrative Tools", stop the SQL Response Incident Repository Service.
-- Copy your incident files back, overwriting any that already exist.
-- Restart the SQL Response Incident Repository service.
As always, any feedback or questions can be posted in this forum, and we'll do our best to reply.
Thanks,
Jason
