Backing up SQL Server Express

It would be really nice to have an option that allows us to schedule backups on the Windows Scheduler rather than SQL Server Agent, and it would more easily allow SQL Backup to be used for backing up SQL Server Express (C/mon, we all use it!). All my other backup tools allow me to use the Windows Scheduler (e.g. Acronis and InSync) so it shouldn't be a technical hurdle.

My other christmas wish is to be able to right-click on a sheduled event and request it to be run immediately, even if the Agent is not running.

    Hi Andrew,

    We have published the instructions for scheduling backups on Express on the website. Maybe it would be a good idea to put this into the help materials in the future if we do not add a wizard for it in the near future.
