Copying settings to another machine

Is it possible to move/copy the settings I have created? I'd like to move all of the database/key/column settings to another machine, or share them with another user. It has taken me a very long time to set them up, we are finding we are spending lots of time tweaking both our user settings to match exactly.

Does that make sense? Just in case this is unclear, I'm referring the the "Data Sources" settings, the tables to include/exclude, the primary key comparison columns, the columns to view/ignore, etc.

    Hi,

    All the settings you've described are part of the project file. These can be found in the folder shown at the top of the "Comparison Projects" dialog, and by default are located in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Data Compare 6

    You can just copy these project files (with a .sdc extension) to another machine, and all the settings should be persisted.
