SQL 2000 and 6.5 compatible DBs?

I am evaluating SQL Prompt 3, and when connecting to a SQL 2000 server, and selecting a DB that is in 6.5 compatibility mode I get this error:
SQL Prompt could not retrieve the database schema:

<db name>

The database may no longer be present or a network connection could not be established.

Is the compatibility level the problem, or do you think it is something else?

    Thank you for your post into the forum.

    Unfortunately SQL Prompt will not support a SQL Server 2000 database that is in 6.5 compatibility mode.
