unable to profile asp.net app (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040202)

Hi,

Are you absolutely sure you're not profiling a COM+ application? This
sounds like a fairly common COM+ connection error. Does the error come up in
the web browser, ANTS Profiler, or in the event logs?

    In hindsight, this sounds like the Internet Explorer component registration problem that has been fixed in version 2.5. ANTS Profiler will now automatically detect and correct this error so it should not happen again.
