I installed Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1, and SQL Prompt 3 no longer works. I still see it in the tray, and it appears to be running, but it no longer autocompletes in Visual Studio or the SSMS. I am running the x64 version Windows Vista Ultimate.

Hi there,
SQL Prompt 3 will not work in VS.NET 2005. I'm afraid that Windows Vista is not be a fully tested platfrom for this release either. We will have a look into this, but I can't promise anything for the upcoming v3.0 release.

thalter,
Can you verify that installing Visual Studio SP1 breaks SQL Prompt for SSMS? We have not installed VS SP1 yet, and may hold off if this is the case until Red-Gate fixes the problem. Thanks. -
Not sure what the problem was, but I noticed that SQL Compare 2 and 3 were both installed in my machine. Removing both, and reinstalling Version 3 seems to have fixed the problem.

Sql Prompt works for me with VS SP1 installed. For some reason the menu was disabled in SSMS, but the autocomplete still worked. I uninstalled Sql Prompt and reinstalled it and all is good again.

I should add that I have installed Visual Studio SP1 on my machine and prompt works fine for me. The install takes a very long time though.
