Unfortunately, I'm unable to start the UI in windbg but I am able to see the exactly error code, which is:
<error>
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001)."
</error>
I'll keep digging around but the issue seems to point to a side-by-side DLL manifest issue.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello Michael,
More than likely the issue is that ANTS Profiler doesn't presently function on 64-bit Windows. You will need a 32-bit edition of a Windows operating system if you are running the software on x64 hardware.
We will evaluate the demand for 64-bit support soon and decide on how to best support it. -
Hi Brian,
I've been using ANTS profiler under x64 for profiling 32-bit application without an issue. Though I'm certainly interested in profiling 64-bit application (as are most of my colleagues) my current requirement is to profile 32-bit applications on my primary 64-bit operating system (x64 not IA64). As I'm sure you're aware the x64 processors do allow 32-bit applications to execute.
Again, the 2.6 version has been working flawlessly for me. When do you plan to provide an update to allow your 32-application to work under an x64 operating system?
A colleague of mine uses Compuware DevPartner (32-bit) on her x64 bit operating system. I'd prefer to stay with ANTS so any help you can provide is very much appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Michael -
Hi there,
I'm afraid that version 2.7 will not run on the x64 platform. We are looking into this problem and will release a patch once we have fixed the issue. If you really need to profile your 32bit apps on x64 then please use ANTS Profiler 2.6.
Thanks,
Tom Harris

Reinstalling does not correct the problem. No event log entries are created.
Any help is appreciated.
