Bug with v2 - slow keyboard response

Hi,

I recently installed SQL Prompt v2 and have been getting used to it over the last couple of days.

I have noticed a problem though, in that, keyboard entry is significantly slow and sluggish to respond in MS Money 2005 when SQL Prompt is loaded. As soon as I kill SQL Prompt the keyboard responds as normal. I have only noticed this behaviour when working with MS Money. All other apps on my system seem fine.

    I have also found slow keyboard response when SQL Prompt 2 is running. This is particularly noticeable in SQL Query Analyzer.

    Thanks for posting. We hope to change the way SQL Prompt interfaces with Query Analyzer in version 3, which will hopefully resolve these issues.

    I have also noticed slow keyboard response in SQL Query Analyzer. And it takes about 30 seconds for SQL Prompt to show suggestions. This may be due to the fact that the database I work with has approx 5,300 tables.

    If this will be fixed in a later version, I would love to take advantage of this tool.

    Hi John,

    5300 tables shouldn't be a problem for SQL Prompt 3, as we're aiming to get it to work with Peoplesoft databases and the like, which have 20,000+ tables.
