DateTime formatting

I'd like to request ANSI standard outputs, or at least a set of formatting options, for datetime values. I am not sure if this is currently based on the local machine's regional settings?

There are still plenty of cases where two people who see 5/4/2006 will see two different dates. I am particularly sensitive to this issue, since I am in the US and deal daily with engineers in our UK office; however, I am sure this is true for any of us who are in the US and deal elsewhere, or are elsewhere and deal with the US.

I'd much prefer to see 2006-05-04 as the default, removing any ambiguity about whether that is May 4th or April 5th. If someone really, really, really wants to see an ambiguous, regional format, they can set it that way.

    Hi Aaron,

    The UI currently uses your locale to format date times (not the servers). We are just about to release 5.1 so I cannot see this making it into that release however I have added your request to our tracking system and it will be review for future releases.
