How can I turn it off? I now have to look in three places to find objects. I need one group, with an icon per object to indicate difference type, and the ability to sort by difference type. The same goes for SQL Compare 5.

You can't. And you're not the first person to mention this so I'd have to say we'll definitely look into it for a future version.
