Why did you kill the Snippet Import/Export?

I have SO MANY snippets from the original that really help my work. I go to your options tab and... NOTHING to help me import the XML into this version :twisted:

The original managed to occasionally lose the entire snippet-set in memory and a "reboot" of the product didn't fix it. Import to the rescue!
Are you sure v2 will not 'drop' the snippets with no recovery mechanism?

Do you intend reinstating this valuable feature?

    I'd second this - even though I didn't use the original tool.

    The loss of the ability to open a pre-defined V3/V4 project for SQL Compare and Data Compare means I'm still using V4 instead of V5 - I haven't been bothered to run both side by side and re-setup my comparison projects in V5.

    You can keep a backup of the snippets by looking in
    \documents and Settings\[your user]\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt

    and copy off options.xml which contains all your snippets
