Unsaved documents cannot be cut or copied... Dialogue

Hi,
When I try to copy the contents of an SQL Object displayed in the using Ctrl + C, an error/warning dialogue pops up saying:

"Unsaved documents cannot be cut or copied to the clipboard from the Miscellaneous Files project. You must save the unsaved document(s) before cutting or copying them."

But I am able to copy the contents by using the context menu's 'Copy' menu item.

Is this the intended behaviour or is it a limitation ?
