Customiz precision for float columns

SQL Data Compare compares float columns up to 15 places by default. Is it possible if we can use custom precision e.g. up to 8 places?

If it's possible, can some one point me out should I proceed to achieve this.

Any pointers will be helpful.

    There is one option for precision in SQL Data Compare... an option called "use maximum precision for floats" is available that will take the precision to 17 to be inline with SQL Server.

    There is no option to decrease the precision.
