When a table name changes case data compare script breaks

We occasionally have to drop a table from the source target and recreate it. I found that if we do not recreate the table name exactly case wise the data compare sdc file silently ignores them and no longer updates the data until I update the sdc to look for the 'new' name. Both databases are using SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS collation and i do not have 'use case sensitive object definition' behavior box enabled. Am I possibly missing a step here?
