Detail missing from email alerts

For some reason the email alerts I am receiving are missing the detail they usually have. It seems to have reverted back to the way they were pre Version 3.3.

I am currently running 4.0 but I had this issue in 3.5 as well. I thought if I upgraded to 4.0 the problem would go away but unfortunately not.

    Please can you try restarting the SQL Monitor Base Monitor service. Do any newly generated alerts show the same behaviour?

    In my case, the problem was lack of resources on the base monitor server. The process which adds the detail to the mail was timing out. I added some extra memory to the server and the problem has been resolved.
