Thanks for the chance to participate in the beta for SQL Compare 5 (I use version 2 currently and it's invaluable).
I have some things I spotted on the Print Preview dialog, that may or may not be "bugs" or "enhancements":
1. There are no buttons on the toolbar in the Print Preview dialog.
2. Setting the page layout to "Portrait" in the Print Preview cuts off text. I expected it to wrap over to the next line, or alternatively reduce column widths so it fits (the column width for the "Object Name" is probably too wide).
3. The Print Preview shows the names of the "To" and "From" databases, but not the direction of change.
4. The heading of "There are 0 database objects that are only present in..." is above the section that is actually a list of the objects that are the same.
5. I feel that having two "Print" items may be confusing. The second "Print" item (which I guess prints to the default printer) could be renamed "Print to [default printer name or description]".
6. In the Print Preview, is there any way to tell whather the user uses metric or english paper sizes (e.g. A4 vs. Letter)? I do not use "Letter" paper, yet that is set to be the default in the Page Setup dialog.
Once again, well done on a good application.
I noticed that the print preview does not display relative to the visible SQL compare page. I use MSN pane that takes the left 1.5 inches. The print preview showed below it.
