SQL Data Compare Previous Versions
identity column included in comparison
New post
Hi,
I've just started using SQL Data Compare today.
I was wondering if it is possible to ignore the identity column when comparing data. The option 'Exclude IDENTITY columns' doesn't do that for me.
Any ideas?
Thx. in adv.

Hello Eric,
I think the issue here may be that the identity column is also the primary key. In that case, the only way to not have it in the results is to go into the columns setting and un-check it.
Please let me know if this doesn't work for you.
