SQL Test 2 is slated for release in the 4th quarter of this year.
This will include the latest version of the tSQLt framework.

If you would like to request more frequent updates of the tSQLt framework within SQL Test you can do so in our uservoice forums.

For anyone reading this who wants to manually upgrade the tSQLt framework without waiting for Red Gate to update it (over a year behind now), the tSQLt folks gave me this link:

I don't know if a manual update will affect the automatic SQL Test upgrades or not. -
Hi Adam!
We're pleased to say that we have just released a beta version of SQL Test which includes the latest version of the tSQLt framework:

To upgrade the tSQLt framework, right click on the database in the SQL Test window and click "Uninstall tSQLt Framework" and then reinstall it using "Add database...". None of your tests will be lost in the process.
Please let us know if you have any issues.
Best regards,
David

How long does it Red Gate to update SQL Test after tSQLt releases a new version? Can that process be done faster so we have an up-to-date version?
