Infinite Loop when Comparing two DB in SQL Data Compare

When I launch SQL Data Compare 10, select the DB in my project, and go to the "Tables & Views" tab, the spinner for "Retrieving schema" starts spinning and the "Registering databases" percentage starts increasing and this continues over and over and over again. No tables, views, ext are ever recovered. Please help.
