can the latest version be used on a sql 2005? (like the current sql compare)

    Hello,

    SQL Data Compare has been updated in the latest version to read the schema and data from SQL Server 2005's system tables, so it should work. I'd give the same warning I give about SQL Compare, though; that if the database has SQL 2005 exclusive features in it such as data partitioning, there could possibly be some problems!

    We're going to release a fully-compliant version very soon.
