To deactivate your licence, use the deactivation tool available from:
www.red-gate.com/deactivationtool
Alternatively, right click and select deactivate. -

Please confirm, does right clicking the clustered SQL server in the SQL Backup GUI deactivates the license on both the active AND passive node? -
I believe it only deactivates the active node. You will need to run the deactivation tool on the passive node, providing it has internet access.

I've evicted and retired two of my nodes prior to deactivating the license. When I run the deactivation tool it doesn't allow me to deactivate. Is there another way to recalim that license?

I intend to completely wipe SQL Backup (regkeys and all) from one of our clusters and reinstall as it is not behaving nicely. So I need to know how to properly deactivate the license.
