Create data difference CSV files from command line

I am running Data COmpare from the command line and I would like it to create the data difference CSV files that are created in the UI from Tools\Export Comparison Results

I have checked the online documentation and can see it is possible to write Synch SQL scripts - but can't see an option for the CSV.

As the comparision will take a relatively long time to perform in my "batch" I don't want to have to open the UI and re-run the project to see the actual differences.

Is there a switch to cause the data difference CSVs to be created?

Hi. I think you can do this by using the /export:<directory> (or /e) command line option.

Aolcot is correct. You can use /Export: or /e: and specify the directory to generate a .csv file.

Some further details can be found here:

I use that option ok to get the summary

"Note that the file created is always called Summary.csv"

but what I want is the details DATA files that are saved in the UI through tools \ export - not the summary.

Unfortunately, that is currently correct. You cannot get the full output from the command line. I have created a new feature request, reference SDC-1271, for our development team to review.
