Validity of Results

Hi,

I purchased ANTS profiler about 6 months ago and have been using it with no worries.

However, a teammember of mine doubts the results of the profiler :cry: . I was wondering if there was any independent test results or sample project that would prove the validity of the results?

    Hello Nathan,

    Sorry I can't help you with that. I am aware that different code profilers can yield different results, though, depending on the implementation. ANTS Profiler in particular seems to be negatively affected by tight code loops and recursion. This is because of the basic design that it is a 'wall-clock' code profiler.
