Is it possible to consider some way of navigating the contents of a document for a database with a large number of objects please? I have just documented a database that has a contents section that stretches to 15 pages and it is pretty difficult to locate specific parts of the document. eg where the views start in the contents so that I could look for a specific view. The whole document is 967 pages so the scroll bar on the right is pretty useless.

Does Word support collapsible contents? If I could collapse the Tables section in the contents then the other sections would be easier to get to.

Is there any intention to provide the SQL Doc functionality over SSRS?

There is no way to modfiy the output of SQL Doc in the way that you seem to be looking for from within SQL Doc itself.

However, the following link describes some handy things you can do (especially Section 3.2). With a little experimentation you should be able to view your contents better and navigate around more easily.

I'm building some search HTML to be injected into the HTML pages, and as soon as I get done with it here in a few days, I'll share it with the forum.

That should help with big db's.....
