Hey Ben, Thanks for reaching out about TDM. Could you confirm that the Redgate Test Data Manager service is running on your Windows Server 2022 VM? You can verify this by opening the Services application (services.msc ) and ensuring the service status is set to "Running." Additionally, could you check if any other applications are configured to listen on ports 80 (HTTP) or 443 (HTTPS)? This might help identify any potential conflicts. Ensure that Zscaler is configured to allow traffic on the necessary ports (80 and 443) and that it isn't blocking localhost connections. Best, Hassan Product Support Engineer / comments

Hi, We recommend running git init to initialize your repository. This command uses your Git configuration to determine the default branch name. By default, Git sets the branch to master, unless you've configured it otherwise. To set main as your default branch name, you can update your Git configuration by setting init.defaultBranch to main. Once updated, all new repositories you initialize will default to main as the branch name. For more detailed instructions, feel free to check out this guide on configuring your Git settings. Let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Hi Dan, This does seem unusual, especially if nothing has changed on the VM since before. Could you try installing the latest version and see if that resolves the issue? Download SQLDataGenerator_4.6.2.5848.exe If it doesn’t, I’ll need a copy of the logs from SQL Data Generator to investigate further. You can follow the instructions HERE to retrieve the logs. / comments

Do you know which version you were on yesterday before updating to the most recent one? Version 4.6 is a major release. I’m attaching the link to the latest 4.5 version we have. Could you uninstall 4.6, install 4.5 instead, and let me know if the issue persists with that version? Download SQLDataGenerator_4.5.21.5722.exe / comments
