Hi all, We've had an update from our development teams. After some internal discussions the issue was found to be caused by SQL Compare, but has now been resolved. You can now upgrade both SQL Compare and SQL Prompt to the latest versions: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLPrompt/SQLPrompt_10.14.23.11448.exe https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLCompare/SQLCompare_15.3.14.27393.exe If there are any further issues, let me know. / comments

@DatabaseJase Unfortunately, I don't have much of an update just yet. The development team have got a ticket open for this and are looking into it, but as of yet I don't have an ETA on when this will be fixed. The support team are updating the development team when we see more instances of this, so I'm hoping it will be resolved soon. For now, I would recommend one of the two workarounds until we have it resolved. Just to confirm the issue appears to be prevalent in any version above 10.14.22 as of this stage. / comments

Hi All, I can confirm we have created a ticket with our development team to look into this ongoing issue. Based on the post from @cstrub, I looked into the difference between both the .21 and .22 releases and can confirm there is a difference between the product versions within the .exe. I have passed on these findings to our development team. Once there's an update, I'll let everyone know. For now, the two workarounds are either downgrade to this version, or try and follow the procedure that @cstrub outlines. / comments

Hi @... SQL Prompt should show up as a tab menu item when it's installed. [image] [image] If you just recently installed SSMS 20 while having SQL Prompt already installed, then you will need to re-install SQL Prompt to get it to show in SSMS 20. I would recommend trying that first. https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLPrompt/SQLPrompt_10.14.21.9884.exe / comments

Hi @Sanjib For this issue, the error 890 from SQL Backup is explained through the error log, but the subsequent SQL error 15157 seems like the principal or login being referenced either doesn't exist or doesn't have the necessary permissions to complete the restore operation. You'll need to check the user permissions on the target database and ensure that the correct login is being used. / comments

Hi @poles1c I believe this stackoverflow article might be of assistance here. Since you are trying to mount what looks like a network share, I believe additional parameters need to be added to your Docker compose. Try those and let me know if it helps or not. / comments

Hi EricM_Bluebay Since table constraints fall within the actual table object, there isn't a filter that can be used to directly ignore a specific constraint. I'm afraid we only have the singular project option you mentioned to either ignore all of them, or none of them. Adding a filter to the 'Table' object will only filter it on the object level I'm afraid (for example, adding a filter to exclude tables starting with 'HK'). / comments

Hi @ed_waystar, I don't see a reason it should have stopped working. My assumption here is that the license has failed to apply when opening SSMS as that other user. Can you try checking the following localhost link to see what license is being applied? You might be able to manually activate it within this link against the user you're trying to use. http://localhost:22221/redgate/status.html / comments

Hi @e.knijnenburg There isn't going to be an easy way to add this information into Redgate Monitor. It will likely need to be a feature request for these settings to come in. Even looking into the data repository, there's a couple of views which you can query which show the various writes and reads, but these are still based on the bytes. The Cluster_Machine_LogicalDisk_UnstableSamples_View does store a column for the cumulative writes and reads itself, so that might be useful for you. Just for anyone else coming across this, I did raise this as a support case for further discussion. What @monolith is stating is valid and a workaround for anyone needing one is to use the 'Ignore' tab to specify the list of tables you ONLY wish to monitor within that comparison project. This will then ignore any outside changes such as modifications to the name. The behaviour raised has been mentioned to the development team. / comments
