Hi @mcook Thank you for reaching out on the Redgate forums and sorry to hear about your lag in SQL Prompt running in SSMS20. There are general slownesses which can be found when running SQL Prompt and/or other Redgate tools within SSMS as they do often scan databases to assist with different functionalities that may be taking place. As a first step we recommend this article to go through some of the more common concerns: SSMS is very slow with SQL Prompt installed Thank you for providing your logs, there are a few warnings and errors connected to network availability. Are you connecting to any databases via VPN or other external network pipeline? Are you able to confirm the database types you have in SSMS? Local, Azure etc. If you are using Azure, can you confirm your connection/authentication type. / comments

Hi @Mikael_H Thank you for reaching out on the Redgate forums and sorry to hear about this persistent window opening new tabs. Appreciate the info you have provided, can you confirm if this pop-up has only started appearing since patching to the latest version of Prompt (v10.14.23 I am presuming) Can you also confirm the browser that you are using that is opening the new tab. I am in the process of trying to replicate this to escalate to our developers, so this may be resolved in a future release. / comments

Hi Adam, Can you please conduct a complete uninstallation of SQL Test and try a fresh installation of V4.2.1 Download link here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLTest/SQLTest_4.2.1.3759.exe This has been tested on a similar system (SSMS 20.2.30.0) and is running through tests to display Code Coverage as expected. As a further check, are you able to look at patching SSMS to a newer version in case there is a DLL conflict occurring. We have referenced a possible conflict that may occur with Microsoft.SqlServer.TransactSql.ScriptDom that may be triggering when accessing the Code Coverage tab. / comments

Hi adam, I am not aware of any conversations around this. SQL Test is largely a wrapper for tSQLt and other community driven scripts for unit testing. Our developers focus is primarily on the application itself and the maintenance of the scripts being run is driven by https://tsqlt.org / comments

Hi @adam_hafner Thanks for reaching out on the Redgate forum, and sorry to hear this error is occurring for you. I had a look over my old post and can see the dev fix that was done around then. Hopefully this isn't a regression. I noticed that there was another recent release of SQL Test - before I escalate to the team, can you patch to V4.1.21 and confirm that the error is still occurring for you Download link for that version is available here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLTest/SQLTest_4.1.21.3620.exe / comments

Hi @adam_hafner Thank you for reaching out on the Redgate forums regarding your SQL Compare formatting question. I believe this may be a setting in SQL Prompt that can be used to add or remove the AS keyword when you format your code. This is found in the menu SQL Prompt > Options and then Format > Styles > Add/remove AS keyword on alias definition for tables and views Setting this to Add will format your code as per your example provided [image] Does this help with your inquiry? / comments

Hi @sql_beagle Thank you for reaching out on the Redgate forums regarding your SQL prompt bulk formatting question. SQL Prompt is able to conduct bulk operations through SSMS & the command-line; however, these do require a SQL Toolbelt or SQL Toolbelt Essentials license to access. An overview of bulk operations and licensing requirements can be accessed here: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp/features-available-only-in-sql-toolbelt-essentials-and-sql-toolbelt/bulk-operations And subsequent pages for SSMS & CLI: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp/features-available-only-in-sql-toolbelt-essentials-and-sql-toolbelt/bulk-operations/bulk-operations-in-ssms https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp/features-available-only-in-sql-toolbelt-essentials-and-sql-toolbelt/bulk-operations/bulk-operations-via-the-command-line If you are wanting to trial the toolbelt and these automation functions; I would recommend reaching out to our sales team through sales@red-gate.com to obtain a suitable license to access the bulk functionality. / comments
