I'm guessing it did. I haven't heard back specifically but it seems to be working for him now. I guess it had just been a while since he'd restarted. Still a rather unhelpful error message though - maybe you can edit these message internally to say "We suggest you restart SSMS". / comments

Well, I've set up CA so that it generates migration files, but whenever it does the deploy through Octopus it does a full compare to generate what I would call a state-based approach. I admit I get a little confused. I mostly wanted to use it to check when drift occurred in the production database so we could act sooner, rather than wait the ~40 minutes for a full deploy cycle. It is important for us to see what drift has occurred and who by so we can work with that person to get the change into source control. / comments

I ended up working with someone else to get an SPN and delegation set up on S2. I also used the full connection string for the SQL CA projects. So rather than our alias DW01 I used the xxxsrv01,8484 type pattern. Anyway, fixed now. / comments
